Loreal Paris Lumi True Match Foundation Review (porcelain light ivory)

I decided to write a review on this. This is seri-oulsy my own opinion and no one elses. I have owned and used this foundation for a WHILE. First i'll show you what it looks like from the front.

The shade I will be reviewing is W-12, in Porcelain light Ivory.

Obviously my lighting (night time) isn't that great and even if I put a pump of this onto the back of my hand you wouldn't be able to tell the shade exactly, since you have not seen me in person. I'll just pump this into a tissue.

Hmmm... Maybe I'll start with the pros~
First thing I liked and noticed is the packing since it looks pretty decent. Many foundations are in rectangular or cylindrical containers while this one isn't all cylindrical. It has a bit of a curve shape at the top and narrow base. Some people might dislike it because they probably think it's easier to knock over but I haven't experienced much of an issue with this. Also the container is made of glass I believe, though the cap is plastic.

Second thing I noticed is that this has a PUMP. I don't ever (unless by accident) buy any foundation that has no pump alright? Having a pump is just so much more hygienic for the acne prone me. Know what i'm saying?

Price wise it's pretty afforadable. I don't remember the correct price but It's your average drug store price.

Another thing about this foundation packaging, at the back it says the ingredients and tells you to shake before each use. Apply this before sun exposure and discontinue use if skin is irritated. It's great that it has spf 20 and vitamins C&E.
I like how it has a sticker flap... Actually lots of bb cream and foundations have this at the back.

I think that's it for photos and pros... Moving on to the CONS.
On the back of the bottle it does say " Illuminates, unifies and improves the look of the skin for a healthy-looking complexion" ... Oh it's illuminating all right... To the point your face gets oily. Now i'm sure this is a bit different for everyone. But for me the foundation was too sheer and it wouldnt stay put. It would smear and migrate around! Not to mention my face gets oily in...probably an hour or two with this. Quick? I know. Because my nose gets the oiliest I do set it with more powder than I would with other products but...it really is hard to avoid. If you already own this foundation and are currently reading this review, Irecommend  you carry a compact powder with you on the go for touch ups whether it be compressed or loose powder (translucent too). Or you can always bring mini packages of blotting sheets with you if you don't like the idea of packing all that make up onto your face for the whole entire day.

I do think this foundation is alright for those who want dewy healthy looking skin who DON'T have a lot of blemishes and scars. As this foundation is sheer and doesn't cover them up well. This foundation isn't very build-able either. As I mentioned before, this slides, smudges, smears and doesn't really stay put so I definitely would not apply a thick layer. If you're going out and decide not to wear much make up, you can apply this in a nice THIN layer. It looks best that way and hey you got some spf on you to avoid the sun right? Think of this product as something to even out your skintone. Apply little by little and not the whole pump slathered over your face all at once ... AHH! Also, avoid the mouth area because somehow this can migrate down and stick onto your lips. It creates a gross looking white milky lip kinda look like so...
See that line in my upper lip? And that white cast all over my lips? Yup... Pretty. >_>...

If you haven't bought this foundation and are considering on buying it...I wouldn't reccomend it. I think you're better off using a BB cream if you're looking for that dewy look. Or even a skin illuminator alone that is meant for highlighting certain places of your face where light hits to create the glow affect.

Over all i'd give it 2/5 and will I repurchase? Absolutely not... I do feel kind of bad sharing my thoughts on this product since a lot were negative.

Alright I think that's about it for the review, do you think I was too strict with this foundation? Have you used this before and what was your experience with this foundation? If you're interested in sharing you can comment and i'll be more than exicited to read it (^•^)/

I'll seri-iously see you guys later. *waves*
